You won’t find apartheid at the Jerusalem pool.

When you walk in your hear the gym machines upstairs, the splashing of the lap pool, and Hebrew and Arabic being spoken all around you.

There are women in hijabs, and others in tichels, and sometimes you can’t tell which is Jewish and which is Arab till they open their mouths.

They are all Israelis.

That’s Jerusalem- a fusion of cultures and peoples who cherish this city, who live together, who make it a modern place to live.

As I walked in I heard an Arab woman say to a man in a kippah- “Yom Naim” - have a nice day in Hebrew.

He responded, “Shukran”- thank you in Arabic.

If anyone tells you there is apartheid in Israel, they have never been here.
