Shabbat Mevarchim

This Shabbat mevarchim we bless the new month of Elul- and we all know what that means.

Soon the King will be in the field.

The time of prayer and repentance is upon us.

We have so much to say to God.

So much repentance that needs reflection.

So many requests for which we need to rattle the heavens.

What can we give?

What of our hands, what of our mouths?

What can we do to reveal the Divine plan?

What can we do to bring it to fruition?

There is still so much hope for sweetness yet to come.
