We can be better than this.

I have been observing humanity. I have feedback.
1. Why can't people hold complexity anymore? Black-and-white thinking about any and all topics. This person did things I didn't like sometimes, even though they were good other times, and "I'm glad they are dead."
Like, what is that?
2. Why are we giving attention and energy to influencers, "attention seekers" who don't deserve it? Someone does something you don't like. Someone does something evil. Don't platform them. Period. Don't give them the energy they are craving.
3. I'm sick of the world being run by politics that most of the time do not have the best interests of constituents in mind. Just self-preservation for the politicians themselves. Toxic leadership that perpetuates its own safety but throws everyone else under the bus. Gross and everywhere.
4. Being "Jewish" or "Israeli" today is grounds for rejection. Denial. Shutdown. Exclusion. Harassment. At work, in school, on the street. In any field, the more "inclusive" your community, the more likely you are to be the worst offender of this.
5. I'm mourning the death of the phrase, "I don't know."
It's a very good phrase. We should bring it back.
I get it. Cruelty is easy and thinking is hard.
But we can be better than this.
