Shirat Shvilli is a core musical-prayer group that meets regularly to sing, learn, and spiritually anchor larger events. A circle of women who come together to sing, pray, and uplift one another through song.
This group will gather regularly for evenings of spiritual music and connection, learning melodies, harmonies, and tefillot that can anchor and enrich SHVILLI’s prayer gatherings.
We’re creating a circle of voices that will:
-
Meet consistently for singing, learning, and spiritual reflection
-
Build a shared repertoire of niggunim, songs, and prayers
-
Offer musical and emotional presence at larger SHVILLI events—Erev Shira nights, retreats, and communal gatherings
-
Serve as a source of strength, beauty, and connection for the wider Shvilli community
Run by Rabbanit Etta BenDavid and Shira Lankin Sheps, Shirat Shvilli is both a learning space and a spiritual home for women who long to bring prayer to life through song.
Together, we lift our voices in harmony—anchoring our community and reminding ourselves that even in difficult times, we will sing again.
