I’m watching these happy Israeli children on the shore.

I’m wondering how many of their fathers and mothers just got called up again for w*r, again.
I listen to them shriek and giggle, the sea swallowing the tears cascading down my face- and I wonder…
A new year is soon to be dawning on all of us- school is just a few days away- the headlines are louder than ever.
We live in such uncertainty.
And here every family is just trying their best.
Giving their kids happy memories- just like I’m trying to.
Before whatever happens next.
To compensate for what’s already happened?
Becuase we always choose life.
The sun is setting again, and I’m just tearing up at the beach listening to all the happy children.
Praying they stay happy and safe, always.
