God is in control

You know what I think is so fascinating about the Abraham Accords?

I don't want to talk about the politics of this agreement. What I want to talk about is the spiritual process of it.

Time is moving so aggressively. Systems are breaking down in various degrees across the world. In the last ten years, so much of politics, technology, business, communication, has bucked the status quo.

As we, the Jews, are fulfilling the ingathering of the exiles, we are also bringing other forms of the prophecies of the Tanach to life. The texts that talk about the days leading up to the final redemption talk about how, when the Jews return to their homeland, Eretz Yisrael, we will bring the land back to life.

Not only is the land blooming, with vegetation and produce, we have revolutionized farming and water collection (in our dry land) to the point of informational bounty.

We have what to share with our neighbors.

Whether it be trade, science, security, or technology.

The people of our country are also innovating, bringing in millions and billions of dollars in and out of the region.

So much potential...

And those among our cousins and neighbors who want to live peaceful and prosperous lives have an opportunity to share and trade what we can offer.

Arab nations respect strength. I think that we've more than proven ourselves over and over again that we are a force to be reckoned with.

Some also respect money and innovation. Ideas are the language of the future.

Those who are committed to ensuring good lives for their citizens, as opposed to d*ath cults committed to d*struction and sl*ughter, have every reason to engage with Israel for the purpose of shared growth.

We have mutual e*mies. Differing ideologies that seek to d*stroy the Western civilizations that we have built.

It may be Israel first.

But it doesn't stop with us.

Ultimately, the fact that the Abraham Accords exist to me is a sign of the times.

A sign that we can be a world that is indeed moving towards a better future.

Jews believe that the final redemption will be a time of peace and truth.

The steps leading up to it are not supposed to be easy. It has not been.

But sometimes I open my eyes and take in the totality of the moment.

Of the ch*os and confusion.

Of the epic battle between good and evil-- whether it be on the b*ttlefield, streets, schools, or social media.

AND ALSO- the miraculous way God is reshaping our region.

I pray that true peace with our cousins is reached at last.

I pray that we all can prosper and live well.

Saudia Arabia? Syria? Lebanon? Iran?

Actually, totally possible and plausible... one day.

God is in control.
