The world is changing so fast

You would barely know that Iran is having a revolution if you didn't have social media.
You would never know about the injustice happening in the streets as people protesting are being gunned down by their government.
The celebrities who have been screaming for Palestinians are silent.
The social media accounts are silent.
The protesters on college campuses and all over the world- silent.
All while the Iranians are fighting for their lives.
For their freedom.
For their country to be restored.
Here in Israel, we can't stop watching.
We are watching our cousins take back control.
Flooding their cities, fires lit, blood streaming down their faces.
Facing an army set against them.
Their government is our worst enemy, the source of most of our struggles.
And the people were once our closest friends, and eternal allies.
We watch and hold our breath, praying for their success.
Watching in awe and admiration.
Sending them hope and reaching our hands out to them.
The world is changing so fast.
The lions of Judah and Persia are set to rise again, in partnership.
We know that their destiny is tied to ours.
Their government persecutes us both.
For now, we wait for them on the other side of this fight.
